If you find knotted strings, papers with strange writings, hair bundles, or buried items in your home or possessions: do not panic, do not touch with bare hands if possible, recite Ayat al-Kursi over it, place it in water with salt, untie any knots while reciting the protection surahs, then dispose of it by burning or burying far from your property.
