Ibn Sirin states: • Nakedness in a dream may indicate exposure of one's secrets or private affairs becoming public. • If one felt no shame in the dream — may indicate the dreamer has nothing to hide and their affairs are transparent. • If one felt shame or tried to cover — may indicate awareness of shortcomings and a desire to protect one's honour. • Partial exposure of certain body parts carries specific interpretations related to those areas. Al-Nabulsi notes that for a person of religious standing, nakedness may represent being stripped of a worldly pretension or being humbled before Allah — which can be a positive spiritual sign. Practical counsel: This type of dream is often from the nafs (daily anxieties), particularly for those under social pressure. Recite "Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min al-khubth wal-khaba'ith" before sleep and maintain night-time adhkar.
